The acquisition embeds GiftAMeal's photo-to-donation engine directly into Swipe Savvy's restaurant POS, loyalty wallet, and Marketing Cloud — giving every Swipe Savvy merchant a turnkey way to drive purpose-driven engagement, amplify their brand on social media, and create measurable community impact without operational overhead.
A purpose-built engagement engine
GiftAMeal's mechanic is elegantly simple: a customer takes a photo of their meal in a participating restaurant, and a meal is donated to a local food bank. When the photo is shared on social media, the donation is multiplied. To date, the program has built relationships with more than 150 regional food bank partners and powered campaigns for national brands including Jimmy John's, Lee's Famous Recipe, and Scooter's Coffee.
